Hirsch Miracle Paint is a high performance coating designed for application directly on rusted or seasoned metal surfaces and will stop rust permanently. Hirsch Miracle Paint is non-porous and seals and protects many surfaces from water, chemicals, salt, and other corrosive contaminants and is able to be painted over rust. Hirsch Miracle Paint is an effective anti-corrosive and rust preventive coating that offers superior chemical resistance due to its dense, cross-linked molecular composition and non-porous attributes.

Use it to coat all rusty metal surfaces:

  • ✔   Rusty frames
  • ✔   Floor pans
  • ✔   Farm equipment
  • ✔   Marine equipment
  • ✔   Corroded battery trays

The secret lies in Hirsch Miracle Paint 's curing process. Most paints dry through evaporation, but Hirsch Miracle Paint dries faster when moisture is present. It has the opposite chemistry of ordinary paints. Now add to that Hirsch Miracle Paint incredible hardness, toughness, and flexibility and you have a coating that is practically indestructible. Hirsch Miracle Paint is a permanent rust repair great for auto frame and chassis restoration, protecting valuable equipment against rust and corrosion. You'll be amazed at the toughness!

Hirsch Miracle Paint is however not UV stable and will discolour under prolonged sunlight. If used in any exposed area, it is recommended to apply a TopCoat.

Apply 2 coats of Miracle Paint anywhere rust attacks. Can be sprayed, brushed, or rolled - no thinning required. If exposed to sunlight, it is recommended that you topcoat Miracle Paint. Can be top-coated with enamel, lacquer, or urethane topcoats. For an original factory finish, we recommend coating with Super Black Chassis Undercarriage Paint.

Introduction to the Use of Miracle Paint in Repairing Rust on Older Cars

  • VW Kombi
Attached are the photos from my 1967 VW Kombi project. I used silver Miracle Paint on the front and rear floors.
First I removed all scaly rust and cleaned the surfaces with Marine Clean.
Then I applied Metal Ready and left for around 2 hours. Once this was dried, I wiped the surfaces down with a wet rag and allowed to dry thoroughly.
I applied two coats of silver Miracle Paint by spraying through a 1mm tip Touch Up spray gun. The miracle paint was thin enough straight from the can so I didn’t need to reduce it any further.
I allowed the Miracle paint to dry for around 48 hours and then went about filling any pitted areas with Upol dolphin glaze. I found the dolphin glaze adhered very well to the dried silver Miracle Paint as the silver dries to a matt low sheen finish.
Once I had sanded the filled area again, I applied another two coats of Miracle Paint through the spray gun. Once this dried fully, I wiped the area with a clean rag lightly wet with thinners to remove any loose surface dust.
The general purpose thinners does not remove the hardened miracle paint. I then applied two coats of 2K hi-fill to the floors and it’s now ready for top coating.
I have found the Bill Hirsch Miracle Paint great to work with and there is no need to deglaze the surface by sanding before applying 2K filler.
This reduces my labour time considerably and keeps a good coat over the treated surface. I recommend these products to anyone doing vehicle restorations.

    Thanks,
    Andrew

    Miracle Paint
I restore RV's and have been using this product for 5 years. If you want a paint that's bullet proof and stops rust. This is the best product you can find. I applied it to the exterior 100 gallon gas tank on a 1995 motorhome over 4 years ago and it still looks like I applied it yesterday.
  • Great product
I use this on antique tractor parts after I have media blasted them clean. This sometimes leave some rust in very small pits. I then etch the part, let it dry, and then brush the paint. Since I am doing small parts, I only need a little paint at anytime. I have used a similar product but the product often solidifies in the can after a few uses. I am amazed that this has not happened to Bill's miracle paint. After removing the cover, which you are not supposed to do, I have used this product over and over by keeping the paint in my shop refrigerator. I then 400 grit sand the body panels, prime, and paint. It leaves a very smooth surface with the small pits covered.
  • This stuff is amazing
It is frankly amazing. Got rust? Use it.
